The second annual SXSWedu kicked off the South by Southwest Interactive, Film and Music Festival in Austin in March. According to festival organizers, SXSWedu seeks to “converge the wide variety of stakeholders who share an interest in 21st century innovation and best practices.” Attendees represented teachers, administrators and university professors, as well as business, industry and policy leaders who share an interest in “modernizing teaching and learning.”
